Descrizione Opera / Biografia
This painting was inspired by a moment I experienced over 10 years ago while backpacking in Hokitika. Standing on the beach, surrounded by wind and waves, I felt a deep inner stillness—a meditative quiet I still return to today.
What stayed with me was a human-made sculpture of driftwood and string, resting naturally within the landscape. It felt both intentional and organic, embodying a harmony between nature and creation. This place has become one of my inner refuges.
Through this work, I hope viewers feel a sense of calm and peace, even amidst life’s storms.
Created with acrylic paint, markers, and Posca pens, the piece blends my detailed drawing style with paint on canvas.
