Descrizione Opera / Biografia
Echo reworks an archival image of a collective body through processes of blurring and repetition. Using graphite, charcoal powder, and milk on wood panel, the group appears as a vibrating mass of open mouths and fading faces, suspended between presence and dissolution. The image evokes a chorus, a chant, or a residual sound that continues beyond the moment of its origin. The work reflects on how historical images transform collective bodies into echoes: visible, forceful, and yet stripped of individual identity.
