Archival Ritual reworks a historical image through processes of emergence and erasure. Using graphite, charcoal powder, and milk on wood panel, the figure appears as a fragile trace rather than a fixed presence. The suspended gesture and draped fabric suggest a ritual action, while the blurred surface distances the image from its original source. The work reflects on how history preserves bodies only partially, turning them into unstable remnants between memory, anonymity, and disappearance.
