Standard Posture reworks an archival image of the body through a process of blurring and partial erasure. Using graphite, charcoal powder, and milk on wood panel, the figure emerges as an unstable presence, suspended between visibility and disappearance. The frontal stance suggests discipline, control, and submission, while the obscured surface weakens individual identity. The work reflects on how bodies are standardized and absorbed into historical images, leaving behind only a fragile and anonymous trace.
