Lars Grenaae lives and works in Copenhagen. MFA in visual arts from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, 1998. Works mainly with graphic arts, and especially with screen printing. The submitted work ”Rose” is from a series of monotypes, and reflect his fascination with process and material studies, and shows his strong interest for hybrid formations as a result of interdisciplinary graphic methods. ”Rose” is a photographic collage, screen printed with traditional etching ink onto a copper plate. The wet ink is then modulated with fingers and the palm of a hand, and finally printed from an intaglio press.
