Andrea Bruciati (Corinaldo, 1968) actively collaborates with trade journals as talent scout, and with other press media, analysing the role that today belongs to the work of art and cultural heritage, intended as educational experiences where protection is combined with enhancement. Thanks to these peculiarities and to the roles of artistic director at ArtVerona Fair in Verona from 2014 to 2016 and at the Biennial of Young Creatives of Europe 2015(BJCEM 2015), he is recognized as a militant promoter of emerging research, for which he has conceived numerous formats. Since 2017, following an international public selection called by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, he has been at the head of the Autonomous Institute Villa Adriana e Villa d’Este, which he named Villae in October 2018. Among the formats created: lab. it, videoREPORT, prima visione, 40, L’immagine sottile, Fruz, Past Forward, On Stage, Message in a Bottle; So Fresh!, studiovisit. it, and Where the West Ends, Hadrianus, Adriano, Hadrian (2017); Artisans (2018); Après le deluge: moi (2019). Daniele De Luigi has been curator of the Galleria Civica di Modena - Fondazione Modena Arti Visive since 2014, where he co-curated the group exhibition Versus and A cosa serve l'utopia and the solo - show of S. Arienti and M.M. Zanin, in addition to the photography section of Cesare Leonardi's retrospective. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Studio Marangoni in Florence, where he teaches Installation Practices. He has been collaborating for years with the European Photography Festival of Reggio Emilia, curating exhibition projects (G. Barrera, E. Arzuffi, S. Kurtis, S. Bergantini, J. Spinatsch, F. Minelli) and, since 2012, the exhibition and the prize Giovane Fotografia Italiana, now in its seventh edition.
In 2017 he was a member of the MiBACT-GAI commission for Panorami contemporanei e luoghi in trasformazione, for which he then followed the work of the duo Calori&Maillard, and he curated the BJCEM residency project Mediterranea Youth Photo culminating in the exhibition of F. Landi, E. Lhuisset and A.C. Pinho for the Young Artists Biennale in Tirana. He has contributed to several catalogues and publications and participated in numerous conferences, round tables and seminars on photography. He has been a member of the jury for the Francesco Fabbri Foundation Prize, the BNL MIA Fair Prize, the Celeste Prize and he has been also a collaborator for the Gabriele Basilico International Prize.
Francesca Baboni. Lives in Correggio (Re). Graduated in classical studies with art history program from the University of Bologna, she is an art critic, art historian and independent curator. For several years she has been curating solo and group exhibitions of contemporary artists for private spaces, with a particular focus on painting and photograph. She has been a contributor to many art periodicals and she is currently editor for Artribune magazine. She collaborates with Correggio Art Home, a study center dedicated to the painter Antonio Allegri known as Correggio, and she is a member of the board of directors of Fondazione Il Correggio, which oversees its activities.
Lorenzo Balbi (Torino, 1982. Lives and works in Torino) is director at MAMbo, Museo d'Arte Moderna, Bologna. He graduated from Ca' Foscari University in Venice with a BA in Fine Art and Conservation of Cultural Heritage and from the University of Turin with an MA in Contemporary Art History. His texts and articles were published by several reviews and magazines, including: Il Giornale dell'Arte, Inside Art, Artribune, Mousse, La Stampa, Exibart, ATP Diary, Il Giornale dell'Architettura. He was artistic director at Verso Artecontemporanea Gallery in Turin, an exhibition space devoted to the research on emerging artists from South-East Asia. Recently he was part of the board of Nesxt, Indipendent Art Festival, curator of the Live Program for DAMA, the new experimental fair for emerging international galleries, and curator of the Pomilio Blumm Prize, prize for contemporary artists made in collaboration with Magnolia and Sky Arte HD. Assistant curator since 2007 at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, he teaches Curatorial Methodology at Campo Course for Curators (www.fsrr.org/campo) and he works on the exhibition projects for the institution in both venues of Torino and Guarene d'Alba. His works is expecially focused on the exhibitions of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Collection abroad. Among his curated shows: Neve chimica (Casa Olimpia, Sestriere, 2012); Riikka Kuoppala. After working for the project as an assistant to former coordinators Ilaria Bonacossa (in 2009) and Stefano Collicelli Cagol (in 2011 and 2012), in 2005 he became curator and coordinator of the Young Curators Residency Programme (www.fsrr.org/ycrp).
Matteo Bergamini (1984) is a journalist and art critic. He lives and works in Milan and he’s actually editor-in-chief of Exibart magazine and collaborator for the weekly magazine D - la Repubblica.
From 2009 to 2011 he has been editorial director of Con-fine magazine and he has collaborated with different headlines, including DDN Design Diffusion News, Kritika and Juliet.
In 2018 he curated the solo show of Luca Gilli Interno in Surreale, ArtVerona and Di/Stanze at the Museo Diocesano - Milan; Aldo Runfola of Aldo Runfola, Michela Rizzo Gallery – Venice; and Marcella Vanzo’s performance Corpo a corpo, Casa G. Milan.
In 2009 he founded the Cultural Association FAC – Fronte Arte Contemporanea – and he curated, among the others, exhibitions as The Wall, Milan; Ustioni, Florence; Ombrapenombrabuio, Bologna; Clandestinità, Florence; A-mano and the itinerant project Ultimo Quarto, both in Milan.
He took classes and conferences in public and private institutions, including Museo del Novecento, Accademia di Brera and Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milan); Carrara Marble Weeks; Scripta Festival (Florence); Macro Testaccio (Rome) and he has been in the commission of different prizes, including Un’opera per il Castello, Premio Lissone, ArtTeam Cup.
Paola Tognon is director of Museo della Città – Luogo Pio Arte Contemporanea and Museo civico Giovanni Fattori in Leghorn. Critic, curator and instructor, she has worked for private and public institutions for exhibitions, publications and residences on visual arts. She explores with particular attention the modernity of relationships between different disciplines, technology and art, context and participatory and site-specific artistic practices in the urban and natural environment. In 2012 she founded Contemporary Locus.
Stefano Taddei. Born in Vignola (MO) and he lives in Albinea (RE). He gained a degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage - Contemporary Field from the University of Parma. He is an art critic and an independent curator.
