Artwork Description:The artwork presented in this contest depicts an illustration proposed as a book cover for Michael Morpurgo’s novel, ”War Horse”, as part of the Folio Society competition. The novel takes place during WW1, but I decided to create an alternative reality, by turning the protagonist into a steampunk biomechanoid horse. I used multiple media, such as charcoal, pastels, computer graphics and traditional drawing in order to create this graphic.Biography:Born in Fitzroy, Australia, now lives in Warsaw, Poland.
