The sculpture Core of Life represents a woman taking off the veil of old age which covered her body to show the eternal youth and beauty of the human soul.
Influenced by the classic school and folk art, Alexey Bykov manages to develop his style where classic shapes melt into exaggerated forms smoothly flowing one into another achieving a natural harmoniously accomplished look. Bykov is a member of ArtParks International (artparks.co.uk) and International Sculpture Symposium Alliance ISSА.
