The tram stop. The city that is broken into thousand microcosms. Pulsating life. Then it stops and waits. The waiting. An infinite instant, countless moments in which nothing is perceived. The past is no longer, but the future is not yet. The present stops and waits. A place that is not the place. It is no longer home but not yet assigned. Then it’s tram and everything starts again. Becoming starts to flow through the arteries of the city/Luigi Barbato was born in Caserta in 1976. He lives in Milan.
His feeling for the Photography started with Travelling. The desire to impress what he saw, his sensations, his way to live the people, the culture and culture around him. His way of seeing the Photography is Reportage, Street Photography and Research always focused onto the Real Life. He improved and developed this passion/job at Istituto Italiano di Fotografia in Milan and with different workshops.
