Descrizione Opera / Biografia
The work ”DIFFUSOR” is an installation including a double-sided projection on a ceramical board. as the beamers are adjusted very high - directly under the ceiling - you have the impression to look at a monitor. the difference between digital and analog content blurs. the projections itself consist out of two stop-motion-movies, produced in the technique of papercut-animation. they show a sphere running through two different mechanisms at each side. there are two different mechanisms but only one sphere. when it disappears at the one side, it appears on the other. the spectator has to follow this movement by walking around the object.
