The Upper Clyde Reflection Series documents through digital photographs the transitory and changing reflections upon the surface of a historically significant river; a river which played a significant part in encouraging the industrialisation of the world.The Upper Clyde Reflection Series was conceived as a contemporary conceptual documentation of a river that was essential to the development of the British Empire.This series of photographs has not been digitally manipulated any any way. My work is an investigation into the limits of visual perception as a measure of external reality. My work explores notions of time, duration, history and memory.
