Remember when art was allowed to be subversive? When, indeed, it was encouraged? But now we all have to bury that side of ourselves for fear of being cancelled. Bury our artist selves. Our art. This work is influenced by world events over the past two years. I’ll leave it to my viewer to decipher its meanings, although the clue is in the title.
