The work is a reflection on the way we percieve American culture through Hollywood movies. Baseball is to Americans a common sport but to me as a European it is an exotic sport i have only seen in the visual culture exported from America (movies like ”A League of Their Own” an ”Field of Dreams”) I don’t know the rules, only how it visually looks. From this perspective i made the sculpture.
