Premio Combat Prize

Sydney based artist, Claude Jones, creates hybrid, mutant and anthropomorphized sculptures, prints, drawings and mixed media 2D images that question our complex and contradictory relationship with other animals. Originating in New Zealand, Jones has traveled extensively, studying, teaching, undertaking residency programs and exhibiting in Australia and abroad. The artist’s works are represented in numerous public and private collections including Artbank, The Art Gallery of New South Wales and The Rhode Island School of Design Museum in the U.S.A.
