Premio Combat Prize

I’m a painter and a visual artist.I’ve studied fine arts in North Karelia College of Applied Art (major studies in Fine Arts - Painting) and North Karelia University of Applied Sciences, (Fine Art) 1991-1997. I work in Eastern Finland in City of Joensuu. My artistic work is focusing on painting, drawing, photographing ans sometimes on social art cases. For me art means dialogue between human beings. Of course painting and drawing is a form of very personal expression. In my opinion very direct flash of my self onto canvas or paper. Oil colour is best possible painting liquid! Recently I’ve painted on metal plate and on acrylic glass. I think painting is very physical activity and being in the same room with an effective painting can be a huge experience. A painting can be a part in interaction. As its best a painting is not an object, it is a subject.
