Premio Combat Prize

I was born in 1980 in Ljubljana, and have lived and worked most of my life in its suburbs, Medvode. As a child I started drawing images from my imagination, that in my teenage years became fantasy illustrations and at the age of 21 I decided to commit myself entirely to visual art. In the following 8 years on the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana I learned classic drawing and painting tecniques that gradually became the basis of my gestural study. I dedicated my first and second degree diplomas to minimalistic gestural painting.
I developed my own gestural style of painting, that over many stages evolved into a minimal arranged surface of straight brush strokes. I have manipulated those in the contemporary stage which I am presenting in this contest.
Personally, I love good fellowship and unspoiled nature. I want to work hard to find harmony in myself and extrovert it however possible to the world.
