Premio Combat Prize

PROJECT: AMANTI ETERNI
My project narrates a story of love for men so distant in time that I call Eternal Lovers. It is love platonic, intellectual the one that feeds and creates my soul;admiration that transmutes into subtle eroticism. It brings me into a morbid play of desire; situation impossible, a passion absurd where transformation, metamorfosi into them seems as only solution. Only way of being one with them.
Simultaneously, I explore masculine part of my being that I feel strongly and touch the borderline of genders that in this act are contaminating each other bringing into life new form of being.
In the multitude faces of mine, I individuate those of El Greco, Dostoyevsky,Rudolf Valentino, Chekov and Pushkin, those of my Eternal Lovers.
BIOGRAPHY
I was born in 1984, in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (Serbia).In the times when my country was ravaged by wars and when I was only seven, my life and that of my brother were completely dedicated to ballroom dancing bringing us to the position of champions of Yugoslavia for following 6 years.
After a classical education in Serbia, I won the scholarship from Bocconi University where I graduated in 2007 with bachelor and in 2008 with masters.
Due to the strong longing for artistic expression, I decided to enrol Academy of Fine Arts in Rome where I am second year of Decorazione in conducting under Margareth Dorigatti.
