Premio Combat Prize

My art is based on my own life’s experiences and dreams, partly fairy tales and old stories. One source is also poetry. I take ideas of them and develop in my mind suitable for me. Ideas change a lot when time goes on. I use animals, especially dogs, symbolically in my works. They often do things that people do.
My main methods in graphics are intaglio and plastic engraving. Lately I have used plastic engraving. It is a little like linocut.
I live in Vantaa, Finland. I have had solo shows in Finland and I have been in international exhibitions in Europe, North- and South America, Asia and Africa. More information of my works and exhibitions you can find in my home page.
