Descrizione Opera / Biografia
This work is based on a reflection on the unpredictability of human behavior, which is increasingly disrespectful toward the animal world.
I was reminded of the legends of Sardinian tradition and their deep connection with the land and Mother Nature.
The character of Su Pascifera embodies the protective spirit of the forest, acting in harmony with the animal world that inhabits it.
However, in my painting, only her sorrow is evident, as her protection was not enough to save the boar from human cruelty.
The young man watches over it, and the fox, stunned, observes from afar.
