Scultura omaggio a Klimt
La scultura mostra in modo ridotto e minimalista due opere chiave del grande maestro Klimt: la sposa e il bacio (fronte e retro). La rappresentazione di Klimt viene così trascinata dalla dimensione del quadro a quella della scultura (tridimensionale). Il linguaggio formale ridotto consente una chiara rappresentazione artistica che rafforza la dimensione del messaggio di Klimt. Anche il bronzo lucido come materiale è stato deliberatamente scelto per emulare il più possibile il materiale preferito di Klimt, l’oro.

Die Skulptur zeigt in reduzierter minimalistischer weise zwei Schlüsselwerke des großen Meisters Klimt - die Braut und der Kuss (Vorder- und Rückseitig). Damit wird die Darstellung von Klimt aus der Dimension des Bildes in die Skulptur herübergezogen (dreidimensional). Die reduzierte Formensprache ermöglicht eine klare künstlerische Darstellung, die die Dimension der Botschaft Klimts verstärkt. Auch die polierte Bronze als Material wurde bewusst gewählt, um den Klimts Lieblingsmaterial Gold so nah wie möglich nachzuempfinden.

The sculpture shows in a reduced minimalist way two key works of the great master Klimt - the bride and the kiss (front and back). In this way, Klimt’s depiction is drawn from the dimension of the painting into the sculpture (three-dimensional). The reduced formal language enables a clear artistic representation that reinforces the dimension of Klimt’s message. Axel Becker è nato il 15 dicembre 1965 a Francoforte sul Meno. Axel Becker è uno scultore e pittore tedesco. Ha studiato con il noto professore d'arte e scultore Josip Diminić. È membro del Württembergischer Kunstverein di Stoccarda (una delle più grandi associazioni artistiche tedesche, fondata nel 1827) e del Böblinger Kunstverein. Axel Becker ha esposto le sue opere a livello nazionale e internazionale in gallerie e musei: a livello internazionale (Germania, Slovenia, Croazia, Italia, Francia, Monaco, Vaticano, Gran Bretagna, Spagna, Cina (Hong Kong), Emirati Arabi Uniti, Giappone, Austria e Svizzera). Ha ricevuto diversi premi, tra cui la Medaglia della città di Monreale, Italia (2019), il 3° Premio del Concorso Internazionale d'Arte di Zagabria, Croazia (2019), il City of Art Award della Biennale d'Arte di Londra, Gran Bretagna (2021) e il premio internazionale Kun:st di Stoccarda, Germania (2021), Finalista Premio Arte Borgo Price 2022, Roma, Italia (2022), Finalista Art Award Germany, Braunschweig, Germania (2022) e Art Price Stuttgart e.V - 2° Premio, Germania (2022).
Lavorando con il carbonio, la fibra di vetro, la ceramica e il bronzo, Axel Becker ha sviluppato il suo stile personale soprattutto con immagini tridimensionali in stile minimalista, creando un efficace contrasto con l'odierno sovraccarico di informazioni. Working with carbon, fibreglass, ceramic, and bronze, Axel Becker developed his personal style mostly with threedimensional images in a minimalist style, creating an effective contrast to today's information overload. Simple, clear, and artistically demanding.

Er ist Mitglied des Württembergischen Kunstvereins in Stuttgart (einer der größten Kunstvereine Deutschlands, gegründet 1827) und des Böblinger Kunstvereins. Axel Becker hat seine Werke national und international in Galerien und Museen ausgestellt: international (Deutschland, Slowenien, Kroatien, Italien, Frankreich, Monaco, Vatikan, Großbritannien, Spanien, China (Hongkong), Vereinigte Arabische Emirate, Japan, Österreich und Schweiz).
