Making Present combines the filmed documentation of my grandmother’s Palestinian birth certificate, her experience with bureaucratic erasure, and the recorded voice of a girl named Naba, a Palestinian in exile, to explore the resistance embedded within everyday details, both in individual stories and in collective memory.
