THE IDEA - A Humanity Installation
Our world needs a sign of peace more urgently than ever.
An installation of the world‘s religions with which we learn to live
together, as Martin Luther King once said in Berlin. Jewish, Christian,
Islamic, Buddhist and Hindu women
portraits are set up in a circle, for an understanding between the religions.
You are in interreligious dialogue without actually having a
say. A risk in a time of religiously charged social tensions. The artist
would like to defuse this in her work by placing a focus in the portraits
on the commonalities of the women portrayed and placing
humanism in the religions in the foreground:
In the background of the pictures are terms such as:
Coexist and the five signs of the respective religions
Diversity first, diversity second
Religions in their cult and in exchange with science, art and culture
can be an enrichment - as opposed to all atrocities that are committed
with reference to the religions, a model of peaceful coexistence.
