Inspired by the “Blood Wedding” of Lorca and the dialogue between the Beggar and the Moon, I decide to capture in this work these two characters using the lights to give the work the drama that appears in “Blood Wedding” at the times of persecution and prior to the duel. Using lateral and low-angle light to obtain that drama in the main figure of the work, which embodies death. With the full Moon behind illuminating the figure, and both frozen in a moment in which they seem to be anxiously and maliciously awaiting what is about to happen.
