Rainbow man is the epitome of Nwobi’s form of art. This painting has coming during a very delicate period in the fight for equality and humanity. This painting tells a story of a black man multi-coloured by today’s society categorisation of humans based on colours and appearance and not of their inner worth. The piece inscribes a message to the viewer that not minding the colour(s) of my outer shell and regardless of what ethnicity and religion, I’m still human like you. This piece has gained widespread admiration and attention and is currently through to the finals for the Global Contemporary Arts Award 2018-2019.
