Born in Turin in 1974, Federico Odello lives in Milan and works in finance. After graduating in Political Science in Turin, he took up photography in 2010 at the end of a long journey as a twentieth-century painting and african art collector.
A lover of black and white reportage, in his work explores the theme of street photography as a form of social documentary following Atget and Cartier-Bresson lessons.
He won in 2016 the first prize in the photography category of the Biancoscuro Art Contest 2016 awarded in September 24, 2016 in the Principality of Monaco at the Monte-Carlo Bay with the work ”Three floors of history of vehicles lined up and overlapped suddenly ”90 × 60 cm, Hahnemuehle Photo Rag Bright White 310 g / sqm.
”Camminamenti” - held in October 2016 in Turin - was his second personal exhibition.
