Premio Combat Prize

Born in Amsterdam, Holland, raised in Los Angeles, returns to Holland at 22 to study ceramics at the Rietveld Academy. With diploma under arm, he goes to Italy for the first time and works there as a designer of industrial ceramics. After 3 years returning to Amsterdam to work as a sculptor and also teaches industrial ceramics at the Academy of Industrial Design in Eindhoven. Collaboration with a Dutch photographer instigates a curiosity when introduced to the creative world of fashion. Leaving Amsterdam to return to Milan were life takes on a new form of expression through fashion and a research in a personal style of photograpic expression.
