Artwork:Dancer - Strong haptic contrast between polished/”soft” body and raw/hard wall. Even though it doesn’t intensify the colour of the limestone, she often does the time-consuming polishing in order to get the ”soft” feeling of the surface.Vita:Silvia Withoeft-Foremny (SWF), born in 1955, 2004 first stone contact, autodidact in sculpting, since 2007 working freelance as sculptress, 2011 state approval as artist, 2012 graduation as State Approved Master Designer of Crafts, living and working in Laatzen nearby Hanover, Germany. Since 2007 numerous solo and group exhibitions, e.g. in Hanover (DE), London (UK), Izmir (TR)
