Artwork description / Biography

Malaka is a work that reflects on the feeling of despair, in a situation where you have given up all hope of finding a way out and thus accept your fate.
Art is communication, and communication is affected by cultural background, personal history, and your ability to render thoughts in words, images or music.
My works communicate my way of thinking and feeling. In all of my works I keep an openness that allows viewers to interpret them in their own separate ways. I use characters, animals, objects, architecture, and landscapes to create a small world in which new stories unfold. The main objective of my work is to motivate people to question the things they have seen, and the way they think.
