/ Artwork Discription
The original idea of this particular work came into my mind when I was suffering from a psychological disorder. Back then, I personally found making art therapeutic, especially making ‘slash’ patterns. Although the technique is simple, there has been much time and labour spent behind the scene, yet many viewers overlook that as they think it is just a massive piece of herringbone fabric on the floor/wall until they decide to get closer to observe it.
My practice and interest are mostly based on overlooking. It interests me that even if many people fail to notice the truth, it is still there, there is a creator, there is a reason and the existence is a fact. It even triggers me to think why we exist and the origin of the whole universe.
