Shroyer’s paintings are driven by her search to tap into the depths of her unconscious and into a world consciousness that transcends individuals and their cultures.
Life has led her far from her rural birthplace of Columbus, Ohio, through a series of experiences including a B.A. in French, a Ph.D. in language disorders, and finally Taos, New Mexico, where she paints and creates. Awards have included the American Juried Art Salon’s naming her as an Emerging Contemporary International Artist; First Place Award, Top Ten Women in the Arts, Rome, Italy; Awards of Merit from Richeson International Figurative/Portrait Contest and from Manhattan Arts International.
Shroyer is represented by Jackies Trading Post Gallery, Taos, and by Laguna Gallery of Contemporary Art, Laguna Beach, California.
