Premio Combat Prize

My name is Zenon Burdy and I was born on May 25, 1956. I graduated with Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland in 1988. I came to Canada in October of 1999 and I am currently a Canadian citizen.
I am a print maker and a painter. I had over 90 shows and I participated in many art competitions, mostly international print biennales and triennials around the world. For every competition there is a selection process and only those artworks selected will participate in the exhibition. For most biennales and triennials only about ten percent are chosen. Therefore, it is an honour to be selected and take part in such competitions with great artists from around the world. For every show catalogs are printed with the artworks that were chosen. At this point in my artistic career, I am invited to participate in these competitions. Furthermore, I have been invited to exhibit my art in National Galleries held by curators where only a few artists’ work is shown.
